The SMASH – Adolescent Girls Programming Community of Practice in Mwanza, Tanzania, spearheaded by the core implementing group, is actively channeling collective power to enhance interventions with adolescent girls, yielding tangible results. The recognition of adolescent girls as a critical and distinct sub-population for tailored programs is gaining prominence in the Mwanza region of Tanzania.

There is a growing acknowledgment of the necessity to design programs that resonate with the unique needs and rights of adolescent girls.
Amidst this groundswell of activity and heightened interest, the opportune moment has arrived to unite stakeholders through a dedicated platform. This platform serves as a nexus for cross-learning, the exchange of expertise, and fostering collective action. The SMASH Adolescent Girls Community of Practice stands as a beacon, resolutely committed to advancing the rights of girls in Tanzania.
