Amani, a Kiswahili word meaning Peace, represents hope, care, and transformation.
Amani Girls Organization (AGO) is a civil society organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable girls through Education, Health, and Social Protection programs.
Founded in 2004 in Mwanza Region as a project supporting girls living and working on the streets, AGO has grown into a nationally recognized organization. Today, it operates across 13 regions in the Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar.
